in 05 we sorta stepped into class by chance... yup all 32 of us..(sorry gary..)
every single one of us was not veri close to each other... like flour lidat.. san san de..
we all had a kind of wall around us.. we didn wanna reach out.. and didn wan others to reach in..
den some point in tym in 05, spencer suddenly moved to the other end of the clas... i wondered why... den i found out tt gary had arrived... now we haf 33 ppl.. yay. i thot, the more the merrier... in 05, the class was sorta unlucky i wld say... esp in sch competitions... well... life goes on despite failure.. and it went on to 2006..
ok... 2006, i thot to myself.. wads gonna happen to this clas??? well... we sota had a change of luck maybe... we kept winning... dats great... i thot. den again in some pt in tym i lost spencer again.. the class was lyk flooded... i was den pissed with myself for not crying.. ok.. we did send off spencer.. but we received bac a class tt feels for each other.. we are now a class without walls.. and erm we went fr flour to being lyk dough... stuck to each other...

yayyy.. im sooooo happy.. CO got syf GOLD WITH HONOURS... yayyyy.... okok. maybe in a sense tt i didnt expect it.. wed morning i woke up super early. becoz i slept early on the night before. den i woke up at 0130 hrs on wed due to sheer excitement. i tossed in bed for abt 30min den i went back to sleep. the next time i woke was at 5am; becoz of my alarm clock--my hp actually.. so i ate breakfast and got my dad to send me to sch. i reached sch at 0558hrs. den i went to change to performence costume and went to tune my instru.. we practised the two syf songs once thru and den we brought the bigger instruments down to the lorry to load. we reached s'pore conference hall at abt 0800hrs. when we arrived we alr saw some other schs dere.. okay. we're a little late.. maybe?
den we went to tuning rm and practised the syf songs again and den we got cut off in the middle of e second song. we were asked to go to backstage. so we went and den the instructors of various instrus started to tune for their students. and oh ya. we waited at the backstage area for abt 30mins. ok . waiting was more tiring and stressful than the actual competition itself. i had seniors and friends who began to feel cold. thankfully there was ah noob. ah noob is actually tze hui. yupp the sec3 pipa tt one. she was probably my heater.. and she actually said she felt warm.. wow. okay. finally. the door leadin to stage was opened. my judgement day was here.
i went on stage and felt extremely cold. becoz the air-con dere was super powerful. we sat dere for some time and den our conductor came out, we played, we cleared off the stage. done. my fate is sealed. i cant comment on how we performed becoz wad i heard on stage is different fr wad the judges heard. btw there were 5 judges in all. all men. after our turn we went to load our instruments to be brought back while we stayed till the next interval. after us was pasir ris crest sec. dunno how they did becoz we missed their performence. after was jurong sec. we decided to clap louder to encourage them becoz we hav e same conductor and tt we hav exchange prog b4. for set piece i hav no comment. but i jux thot that they did reasonably well for choice piece. it was quite nice actually. the next sch was st anthony's canossian sec. for set piece they did ok. but the reall shocker was the choice piece. of all things they chose chang cheng sui xiang qu[basically its the Great Wall Capriccio]. that was the first time i felt threatened. the sch after tt was CHIJ st nicholas girls sch. again, no comment about set piece. but i think tt they did quite well for choice piece la. and erm for st anthony's and st nic's i truly admire their suona soloists. becoz i alr admire gals who can blow suona... not to mention gals who can blow as well as them.
on the journey back to sch i was lyk wad if we cant get the gwh?? sighhh. den finally came the moment of truth during assembly. the PA system gave off a tune signalling tt there was an announcement to be made. my heart sank. i heard the HOD's voice. she was lyk 'here are the results for the syf central judging for chinese orchestra. we hav been awarded the gold..[ den at this moment everybody was silent] with honours. den ppl started screaming and cheering for CO. and of course CO members were probably shedding tears of joy.. not long after tt, we heard the tune signaling for announcement thru the PA system again. my heart sank again.. i was like is she gonna say tt she made a mistake and tt we didnt get gold with honours? i heard the CO tr i.c's voice. she was calling all CO members to stay bac aft assembly la. oh please.. dont scare me like tt. i'll die fr shock.
since jenns has been bugging me to reply tags, im gonna do it now.
to sm-- yan is known as jelly becoz in the spongebob family[if u rmb], yantong is the jellyfish. jelly is my short form for jellyfish. and the reason why i sent blank posts was becoz i made some changes to the blog template and they couldnt show so my sis solved the prob by republishingthe blog- wif empty posts.
