in 05 we sorta stepped into class by chance... yup all 32 of us..(sorry gary..)
every single one of us was not veri close to each other... like flour lidat.. san san de..
we all had a kind of wall around us.. we didn wanna reach out.. and didn wan others to reach in..
den some point in tym in 05, spencer suddenly moved to the other end of the clas... i wondered why... den i found out tt gary had arrived... now we haf 33 ppl.. yay. i thot, the more the merrier... in 05, the class was sorta unlucky i wld say... esp in sch competitions... well... life goes on despite failure.. and it went on to 2006..
ok... 2006, i thot to myself.. wads gonna happen to this clas??? well... we sota had a change of luck maybe... we kept winning... dats great... i thot. den again in some pt in tym i lost spencer again.. the class was lyk flooded... i was den pissed with myself for not crying.. ok.. we did send off spencer.. but we received bac a class tt feels for each other.. we are now a class without walls.. and erm we went fr flour to being lyk dough... stuck to each other...

the past 2 days was learning symposium. actually its about the same as the project festival that we used to haf every year. yup. i was a presenter. so sian la. stuck in that pathetic classroom of mine for like almost the whole day. im supposed to present on the cid proj i did in the first semester. yup tts the one with hookie.. mr hook, i mean.. wah. so hard to link wadeva we did wif the habits of mind la. and then before tt, for the whole week i skipped lessons just to do this proj. i even stayed back lor.. i was like pretty unhappy wif this hookie's proj. so im quite happy that this is finally over. the first day (yesterday) was so boring la. so very extremely boring. started the day wif the first keynote address (ya theres a second one). oh. the speaker was dr soon. ya, the maths talent class dr soon. after his talk many of us started to think if he was the one who came wif ASK. jus did some presenting. ya. there were 2 other grps tt shared the classrm as us, both were the juniors' grps.. sec1 and 2. i mean yr 1 and 2.. one was on the fashion catwalk in the aesthetics cluster. the presentation was average. the 'catwalk' was a little draggy becoz the guy kept walking the same route and giving the same pose.. gets a little sian after a while. den the second group did on punk music. reminds me of english music proj.. the pres was quite long and boring. the most interesting part was the video they played at the end.. yaa.. still dunno why the classroom is so packed when they present.. i mean really packed okay. so many ppl until there were not enough chairs.. some sat on tables, some on the floor den the rest who came late stood. they stood in the classroom or outside of the classroom and watched thru the windows. i think it must be the video.... zhijun and the 3c huishan were the helpers in our classroom.. i think they did a great job in setting up and decorating the classroom despite being 'saboed' by ms chia. or maybe tts why they are saboed. im not gonna comment on our grp's pres. i think i didnt do a good job. went home. sianzzz.... the second day (tts today) was much better.. stil had keynote address (see i told you theres a second one). but the speaker was more interesting. then got prize presentatn.. all participating grps had some cert of participation.. den they gave the prizes for the yr1 cheering competition and yr2 games stalls. they also gave prizes for best group presentatns and best presenters. the prize for the top presenters seem to be either ipod or mp3.. in case ure wondering, ipod not equals to mp3. the nanyang research proj so li hai la. or wad the boys in my class call imbaa.. they won a special commendation for the best grp presentatn and 2 best presenters.. ariel and charlotte tai li hai le. den continued wif presentaions. but im not presenting today... so i slackedd.. sort of. i went to talk to zhijun and lau sinyee.. den i realised tt zhijun is very erm, scheming, maybe.. she intends to look for a rich, old man who is dying fr cancer and doesnt hav children. so tt she can inherit his money, complete her dream of building a school and den go and marrying her dream guy who is handsome, smart, taller den her, and.. rich -.-" so like drama la. i think zhijun watches too much tv.. or she reads too many storybooks.. den she says she wans to study design but she says the school fees in la selle and nafa are too ex.. oh well. den i started to tell her tt my parents want my to (1)go to medical sch and become a doctor, (2) have a best friend who is a doctor or (3) marry a guy who is a doctor.. that way they'll save some medical costs and doctor's fees when they have ailments in old age.. i dont take bio and dont intend to take bio, so option one is out.. option 2 is pretty uncertain.. so zhijun suggested option 3.. right... -.-"' she started to come up with a list of ppl who take bio.. oh please. taking bio doesnt equal to becoming a doctor... zhijun, you really nid to cut down on the tv and storybooks.. the day was coming to an end and we were supposed to go to the hall for the closing of the learning symposium.. but apparently, we havent kept our stuff so ms chia asked us to go bac to pack up. after packing up, we were like being conned by a dunnowho who said tt we needed to stack up the 12 chairs in the classroom. so we stacked. then after tt another someone else said tt we needed to take the remaining chairs out of the needlework rm and put them bac into the sec one classrooms we used... we were like. WAD?! but we stil moved the chairs and desks laa. ya. there were few of us on the first floor. jianlong, swee cheng, pearly, rousi, sylvia, lau sinyee, silin, sijie, baey huishan, zhijun and me. yunzheng and the rest did the second floor.. we managed to complete 4 classrooms and did 2 classrooms halfway.. we realised tt we were conned when mdm lalitha and mr desmond seetoh were like asking us to stop and get the sec ones to do it as that was their classroom and they were coming bac fr the hall anw.. wah.. i was like THE SEC 1 CLASSES THAT WE MOVED IN THE DESKS AND CHAIRS FOR OWE US A DRINK OR A MEAL.. OR SOMETHING.. but come to think of it, the moving was quite fun leh.. because the classrooms on the first floor had ceramic tiles on the floor, so when we pushed in the desks and chairs we jus had to slide them across the floor. very fun. it was like ice skating with tables and chairs. one of the classrooms we managed to arrange was the classroom tt 2d06 used when we first came to this school compound... then i started to think of jennings.. den i felt a little sad.. ok. tts beside the point.. after moving the stuff, we went to the canteen where we had the catered lunch provided by the school. the cream puff was so nice luh.. it was like having choc ice cream in a puff... even then, the classes who didnt need to arrange the tables and chair becoz we did it for them deserve to give a drink or smthing. so the following classes: 1A, 1B, 1C, 1F,1G & 1H. watch out lor. i might come and qiao zha (extort money) fr u (: joking la. i realised tt thruout this whole learning symposium, i was like presenter cum guide cum helper. i presented my proj, i explaimed the cid framework and syllabus to a teacher fr another sch and i helped to move the tables and chairs around for the sec ones.. how ironic.. tmr is like d-day fr us. tmr is prize pres day for academic results.. its also the day tt we get our result slips bac. apparently, i think tt cid will pull down my gpa.. tts sad la.. oh and we also get to clean the classroom.. hahahaha.. i tink tt my classroom has enough dust for us to clean for the next two days lor. extremely dirty. partially becoz not everybody does duty. which also reminds me tt mr rendy lee's fine system for class duties is really effective.. compare 2d and 3d. u'll see why. its obvious la..
